Terms of Service

1. Agreement
By downloading, installing, or using Nekorder (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Nekorder is developed by Jakub Wilk, operating as a sole proprietor registered in Poland (“Developer”).
2. License
The Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Nekorder on macOS devices you own, subject to these Terms.
- Free version: You may use Nekorder at no cost. Exported videos will include a “Made with Nekorder” watermark and are limited to 1080p resolution.
- Pro version: A one-time purchase of a Pro license removes the watermark, unlocks up to 4K export, camera overlay (Picture-in-Picture), custom cursor styles, and custom backgrounds. The Pro license is valid for the lifetime of the product and may be activated on up to 2 devices simultaneously.
You may not redistribute, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App.
3. Purchases and Payments
All purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy, LLC), which acts as the Merchant of Record. By making a purchase, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy’s Terms of Service (https://www.lemonsqueezy.com/terms). Lemon Squeezy handles all payment processing, tax collection, and invoicing.
4. License Keys
Upon purchasing a Pro license, you will receive a license key via email. You are responsible for keeping your license key secure. Do not share your license key publicly. The Developer reserves the right to disable license keys that are being misused or shared.
5. Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Lemon Squeezy in accordance with their refund policy. You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase by contacting Lemon Squeezy support. See our Refund Policy for details.
6. Intellectual Property
Nekorder, including its code, design, and branding, is the intellectual property of the Developer. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.
Videos and content you create using Nekorder are yours. The Developer claims no ownership over your recordings or exported files.
7. Privacy
Nekorder does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All recordings and processing happen locally on your device. The App may request access to your screen, camera, and microphone solely to provide its recording features — none of this data leaves your device. The only network communication is license key validation with Lemon Squeezy’s servers, which transmits only your license key and a device identifier.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Nekorder is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The Developer does not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from or related to your use of Nekorder. The Developer’s total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.
10. Changes to These Terms
The Developer may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the App or the website.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Poland.
