Overview

Nekorder (“the App”) is developed by Jakub Wilk, operating as a sole proprietor registered in Poland (“Developer”). This Privacy Policy explains what data is and isn’t collected when you use Nekorder.

Data We Do Not Collect

Nekorder does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

• Screen recordings or exported videos
• Camera or microphone input
• Usage analytics or telemetry
• Crash reports
• Browsing history or app usage data

All recordings, edits, and exports happen entirely on your device and never leave it.

Device Permissions

Nekorder may request the following macOS permissions solely to provide its features:

• Screen Recording — to capture your display
• Camera — for the optional Picture-in-Picture camera overlay
• Microphone — for optional audio recording

None of the data captured through these permissions is transmitted off your device.

Data Collected During Purchase

If you purchase a Pro license, the transaction is processed by Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy, LLC), which acts as the Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy collects and processes your payment information, email address, and billing details in accordance with their own Privacy Policy. The Developer does not have access to your payment details.

License Validation

When you activate or validate a Pro license, Nekorder communicates with Lemon Squeezy’s servers. The only data transmitted is:

• Your license key
• A device identifier (used to manage activation limits)

This communication occurs during activation and periodically to validate your license. No other data is sent.

Data Storage

License information (license key, activation status) is stored locally on your device using macOS system preferences. No data is stored on external servers controlled by the Developer.

Third-Party Services

The only third-party service Nekorder communicates with is Lemon Squeezy for license management. No other third-party services, SDKs, or trackers are used.

Your Rights (GDPR)

As a resident of the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

• Access — request what data is held about you
• Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
• Erasure — request deletion of your data
• Portability — request a copy of your data

Since the Developer does not store personal data, these rights primarily apply to data held by Lemon Squeezy. Contact Lemon Squeezy at https://www.lemonsqueezy.com/help for data requests related to your purchase, or contact the Developer for any other questions.

Changes to This Policy

The Developer may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the App or the website.
